Partnership

In May of 2018 our church partnered with the North American Mission Board in an effort to get support in Replanting Light in the Desert Church. This decision was driven by a sense of God’s movement here and throughout the entire United States to revive dying churches; to resurrect churches to a new life of gospel growth. We couldn’t be more excited to see how God is graciously breathing new life into Light in the Desert Church.

Contend, O Lord, With Those Who Contend With Me

Church Family, Continuing our Psalms for the Summer, this past Sunday we looked at Psalm 35, a rich and robust imprecatory psalm. Here David shows us that God cares greatly for justice. Not only does He care for justice, His righteousness makes him uniquely qualified...

Faithful Then, Now, and Forever

Church Family, This past Sunday guest preacher Brandon Reimus walked us through Psalm 34. This psalm highlights God's persistent goodness as seen in his love towards his people. It does not claim that God's people will not face hardship, in fact it argues the exact...

Praise to the Only Everlasting

Church Family, This past Sunday we looked at Psalm 33. This psalm clearly establishes that the Lord alone is our rescue. The laws and structures of even the greatest nations cannot be our rescue; they are subject to the will of God which alone stands forever. The...

Blessedness and Sorrow

Church Family, This past Sunday we looked at Psalm 32 which centers around a clear point and counterpoint. First, it tells us "blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven." There is a true and utterly unique joy that comes from receiving the forgiveness found...

Preserved by His Steadfast Love

Church Family, This past Sunday we spent our time in Psalm 31, one of David's lament psalms. This psalm indicates that David was facing the dreadful experience of being slandered and being rejected for that slander. David responds by asking that God would preserve...

This is so good to see!!!! One of the best things a Church can do is spend time together. Heb. 10:25. Awesome keep it going.

Our women had a brunch to kickoff the start of our fall Wednesday activities. These classes are not just another thing to add to your busy schedule. We want you to have a thriving and growing relationship with God and have a vast network of friends and community to help push you to rely on him more and more. That is why we have these different opportunities to be with other brothers and sisters in Christ. We hope that you will join us! Child care will be provided for the Wednesday night classes.

Sunday’s sermon was about Stephen’s speech about stubbornness and God’s faithfulness despite it.
Your stubbornness will only doom you to a life of misery. You’ll be enraged, grind your teeth at the things that do not support your selfish agenda, resist the Holy Spirit, and other believers will just be people who will rub you the wrong way.
